Affair said about " Amarante "

The case of " Amarante " concerns the observation, of day, by a witness, a researcher in cellular biology, of an object which, for 20 minutes, stayed in still flight over its garden. The testimony registered by the police force, less than 5 hours after the observation, amounts as follows :

- On October 21, 1982, after his work, the witness was at about 12. 35 in his garden, in front of his house; he lives to come from the southeast a machine stealing that he taken first of all for a plane. He lives a sparkling machine and clarified that there were no clouds, that he had no sun in eyes and that the visibility was excellent. The speed of descent of the machine was not very big and he thought that this one was going to pass over his house. At the given moment, he realized that the trajectory of the machine drove it towards him, also he moved back from 3 to 4 m. This machine, of oval shape, stopped in a meter of the ground about and stayed in still flight in this height during about 20 minutes.

- The witness clarified that having looked his watch, he was absolutely certain of the duration of the still flight of the machine, which he described as follows: egg-shaped shape, about diameter 1 m, thickness 80cm, lower half of the metallic aspect, kind polite beryllium, superior half of the blue-green color lagoon in its internal completion. The machine emitted no sound, neither heat, nor cold, nor brilliance, nor magnetism, nor electromagnetism. At the end of 20 minutes, the machine rose abruptly upright, constant trajectory which it maintained until loss of sight. The departure of the machine was very fast, as under the influence of a strong inhalation. The witness clarified, finally, that there had no track or stands out on the ground, the herb was not either burnt, or crushed, but he noticed that at the time of the departure, the herb had raised itself right-hand side, to resume its normal position afterward.

The interest of this observation, besides its strangeness, lies in the visible tracks left on the vegetation in particular on the shrub of amarante of which the extremities of leaves, become completely dehydrated, give to think that they were subjected to intense electric fields. However, in spite of short delays of intervention, the conditions of taking, then conservation of samples, did not allow to verify definitively this hypothesis. Of a preliminary study on the behavior of vegetables subjected to electric fields it emerges that :

- Fields electric, credibly at the origin of the uprising of blades of grass, should exceed 30 kV / m,

- The observed effects on the amarante are probably the fact of one fields electric which, at the level of the plant, widely had to exceed the 200 kV / m.
